I have escaped Domestic Violence. Some of the experiences with law enforcement and what not was NOT up to the level of justice and grace. Some of the women’s stories I’ve heard now I’m in a safe space, some of their stories are INSANE. How dare so many women experience such awful abuse, how DARE the perpetrators get off so easily. HOW DARE the cops ignore the previous reports of women in danger…….noone deserves to feel isolated and alone in such a horrifying home life.
